Ever since I can remember there have been two passions in my life: drawing and horror. Some of my best childhood memories include watching horror movies on TV, sitting up close to the screen, drawn to the action, gore, and unintentionally hilarious situations. I’ve always felt both in my art and my favorite horror films that there should be some camp involved. It’s that dark humor that helps inspire my own illustrations.

I was fortunate to meet John Trivelli at an Art Hop event that featured my art at the Water Street Coffee Joint. He lives in Colorado and was visiting family in the area. He asked if I wanted to lighten up my characters to illustrate a children’s book series he was writing. He liked my bright colors and animated characters. It’s been a great opportunity.

Hope you enjoy the result of this collaboration. We have many more titles to be published.

Wanna Bee Children's Books by John Trivelli is a whole series of books you will enjoy for years to come. This series is based on a young bee named "Wanna Bee" who is always wondering what he wants to be when he grows up.

The series begins with Wanna Bee introducing himself, where he lives and how he watched the Home Builders build his home. This makes him wonder if he might "Wanna Bee" a Home Builder when he grows up.

See how Wanna Bee explores the possibilities in his mind as he imagines himself as a Home Builder!

Wanna Bee Children's Books are designed to inspire a good work ethic by arousing the imagination and encourage children to explore the endless possibilities of what they can "bee" when they grow up.

Collect the whole series and have fun reading all about the wonderful adventures Wanna Bee has in his imagination!
