Melvin Visser spent 35 years as a scientist with Upjohn
company in Kalamazoo before pursuing the mysteries of PCPs-PCBs in our
environment in writing Cold, Clear, and Deadly. It took
him from the Great Lakes to the Arctic Circle. His 2nd book, The
Climate Trap goes deeply into Earth's history, 10,000 times further
back than the ice core, to determine why Earth suddenly heats up after it
slowly freezes and what Earth's built-in freeze protection system will do
when Earth is gently warmed. He lives in Kalamazoo.
Robert Weir enjoys working with words. He has written several books including Peace, Justice, Care of Earth: The Vision of John McConnell, Founder of Earth Day and articles for magazines and newspapers. He works as an editor organizing content and offering concise explanations for authors and enjoys speaking engagements. We have his other books available at the store. He lives in Kalamazoo. |
