Judge William C. Whitbeck has a life-long love of reading. He added a passion for politics, public policy, and the law, resulting in a long legal and political career.

After serving as a lawyer in private practice, being a counsel for three Michigan Governors, and serving the last 13 years as a Judge on the Michigan Court of Appeals, he adds author to his titles.

His debut novel is a legal thriller set in Michigan in the 1940s. It is loosely based on a true case of a 1945 murder of a state senator who was set to testify about rampant political corruption.
